Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Government Data Analyst to support our US Data Team . This role is critical in ensuring the integrity and completeness of legal data, identifying business risks, and enhancing our data supply chain through government and alternative sources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, legal filings, and experience working with large datasets in Oracle and AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely receipt and full processing of vendor files on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Manually resolve unmatched bankruptcy filings and ensure accurate data reconciliation.
  • Aggregate legal filings from branch-level reports to their immediate parent entities.
  • Monitor and refine Google Alerts to proactively detect business failures and M&A activity.
  • Leverage AI tools to identify alternative methods for detecting at-risk businesses.
  • Address and resolve sales and customer inquiries related to legal filings.
  • Research and integrate alternative sources of legal filings into existing workflows.
  • Collaborate with developers to onboard and incorporate government data sources not yet integrated into the current supply chain.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL (Oracle and AWS environments).
  • Experience with AWS tools such as S3, Athena, and Glue is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with PACER (Public Access to Court Electronic Records) is a strong advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of Python is a plus.
