Entry Level Data Analyst

Summary

Reporting to the Data Support Manager and Data Director, this role is responsible for assisting with daily data queries received by the data support team, as well as supporting the overall day to day operations of the data team by completing various tasks assigned by the Data Director.

Main Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze, and resolve data queries received both internally and externally by the data support. This includes making any necessary updates, querying various databases, etc.
• Knowledge and management of specific datasets to answer any queries raised internally and externally.
• Providing support regarding Creditsafe data in relation to its use in products, scorecards, and marketing materials.
• Completing all work within the determined SLAs

 Core Skills

• Knowledge of and ability to effectively use excel and SQL.
• Experience/understanding of databases is a plus.
• Capable of evaluating data to derive meaningful, actionable insights and updates.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, to simplify various data insights for audiences without a background in data analysis.
• Possess the ability to compile, analyze, and present data accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time to complete tasks.

 Experience

• 2 or more years of experience in a similar role within the business information industry.
• Experience with creating reports/dashboards would be a distinct advantage.
• Data Management background is highly desirable – processing and providing feedback on various datasets.
