We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing Data Engineering team at Creditsafe. You'll play a key role in building data pipelines and supporting faster, more informed decision-making for both our internal teams and customers.

🤝 Your Team
You’ll join one of four delivery teams within our Data Engineering department. Together, we support over 1,000 data pipelines and manage data services across our centralised data warehouse. These services provide the "business-ready" data that powers our products.
We work in an Agile environment using modern tools and technologies including AWS, Glue, Step Functions, Athena, PySpark, SQL, and Python. Our processes are metadata-driven to ensure scalable, consistent, and reliable data delivery.
🧭 Your Role
You’ll work closely with the analytics team to design and build data pipelines that help turn raw data into valuable insights. This role offers the chance to work with large-scale data architectures and contribute to shaping our future data platform.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Collaborate in an Agile team to develop, test, and maintain reliable systems.

Design and build data pipelines using Python and SQL in line with architectural guidelines.

Use modern orchestration tools to build scalable data workflows.

Apply practices such as continuous integration and test-driven development.

Deliver medium to large features independently using standard processing patterns.

Support performance and scalability of our data platform to meet growing demand.
🧠 Skills & Experience
We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and encourage applications from those with transferable experience. You’ll ideally bring:

Experience building ETL pipelines in Python.

Familiarity with analytical data warehouses (e.g. Redshift preferred, or Snowflake/BigQuery).

Understanding of orchestration tools such as AWS Step Functions, Airflow, or AWS Batch.

Experience working with Agile methodologies.

Awareness of automated testing and delivery pipelines.

Understanding of metadata-driven data modelling or scalable data frameworks.
